Steven T. Bunch received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1978. A graduate from the New England School of Law he has practiced law in Albuquerque since 1987, concentrating in children's, family, elder and mental health law. In 1996 he founded The New Mexico Drug Policy Foundation. The NMDPF provides an educational forum to address the social, political, and economic impact of current drug policies, develops alternative drug control strategies and policies, and advocates drug policy reform. Mr. Bunch is a member of the Board of Youth Development, Inc., a member of the New Mexico Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and the New Mexico Harm Reduction Act Implementation Committee.
